So hungry...

Damn I'm hungry...should've bought something to eat at uni first before coming home.

Anyways, 2 weeks of uni has passed for me and so far so good. Here's the typical day at uni for me:

1) Lab: How the hell you do this!? ARGH!!
2) Lectures: zzzzzzz....
3) Tutes: And so, he said that and that bla bla bla...
4) The 10 minutes given to students to walk to their next class: Ooooooh, Wedges! (Resulting in being late for class due to unforseen circumstances)

We had to form groups in most of my units and there's this one particular group I'm in that's abit...I don't even know how to describe it. Two of my groupmates are full-time working people that's way into their 30's. This guy named Chris, is the manager of his company's credit flow. He comes in dawning in his suit and tie for every tute (That's because he comes straight from work). And the other is a women called Belynda who works for the accounting department for RAC. It's really interesting getting to know how's working life feels like from asking them. And they're so...matured. Guess it's good having them in my group, as it's a known fact that grown-ups don't procrastinate XD

I thought I lost my Zen Micro yesterday. I was FURIOUS yesterday arvo. This is how it all started...

I was preparing myself for uni in the morning, and when it's time for me to put my Zen into my pocket, I couldn't find it.
I tried looking around my table. No good.
Tried looking in my bag. No good too.
Then thought maybe I left it in my jacket. Naadah.
That's when I started to panic. I was thinking where in the world I could've left it. Time was running out as my bus was scheduled to arrive in two minutes. So I thinking if I should be late for class trying to find my Zen, or just go to class and come back home later and then find it. I decided to just go to class first cause if not it'll be foolish of me to just not attend class.
On my way back, I thought maybe I dropped it in San's car. Luckily I saw him leaving the house just as I came back. So I looked around the car roughly (as he's going to uni) but can't find it. I was getting real worried then. I went into my room and spent an hour searching the whole room. From under the bed, to behind the bed, to even my cupboard that I clearly know I didn't even open it the day before. Damn I was pissed. I have to say thank you to my bestie and one of my close friends for tolerating my bitching as I was soooo damn pissed at that time.
I carefully retraced whatever I did on Monday evening in my head. The only time when it could've dropped outside home is at the car park where San parked his car. If that happened, that would suck BAD. I managed to SMS San to check where he parked yesterday to see if it's there.
My only hope of finding it is either,
a) San found it at the car park
b) It fell in San's car

I couldn't do anything till San came back from uni at 5pm, so I patiently waited. When he came back, I asked him straight away if he found it, he shook his head in a manner of saying no. I went, "Fuck!" in my head. So I asked for his car keys and decided to check his car.
On the way out, I decided to check the spot that San parked his car outside of the house yesterday. As I opened the gates, I looked at the spot and I saw my Zen!
It was just sitting there, enjoying the fresh air. A nice change from being in my pocket most of the time.
I really couldn't believe it that it was just sitting there. The people that walked past didn't even notice it! It stuck out of the grass patch like a sore thumb due to it's black casing. But as San noticed, the case that I put my Zen in masked the outline of the Zen, thus maybe passerbys thought it's just a casing.
So I thought, if it had been out here since the day before, surely rain has "showered" my Zen. I turned it on. The blue backlight came on as usual and I've never been so glad. San hinted, "Maybe the headphone jack has problems?".
Coming back to my room, I tested it and it worked fine!

Another crisis avoided! If I were to lose my Zen, I would be in a depressed mood for a long while. I can lose my mobile and still not get THAT worked up. I don't know why, but my music is REALLY important to me. If I were to lose either my UM1's or my Zen, expect hell...or rather just me being very depressed.

Speaking about music, I tried out Eda's Sony Bean (NW-E305/7, don't know which is hers, could be the 305 (512mb) or 307(1gb) version) and I was suprised by the internal amp. I didn't manage to see the equaliser setting for it, but damn did the bass hurt my ears (tested with my UM1). I have to admit I'm a basshead when it comes to songs that need bass to sound good (eg. trance), but the bass' that is being produced by that player is really too much. It muddles the mids and highs. Maybe it's just my UM1's, but damn, gave me a really good impression of what to expect if I were to get an amplifier *eyes the Total Bithead*

On to other news now...

Timezone on Monday with San was awesome. Yes yes, I know it's a waste of money, but it can't be helped. We both played Battle Gear 3 (a racing/drifting game) and I think I've finally found a competitor. It's been forever since I've found someone to play racing games with. Glad that San enjoys it too and that he sucks we're both quite competitive in that game. I find it really nice to see two different styles of driving in a race. San was driving the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3 (Tuned), a 4WD while I was driving the Toyota Sprinter Trueno (Tuned), a FR car. He had to use different techniques to make the car go sideways compared to me. Thus the differences in our driving styles. And thanks to that event, I'm completely addicted to that game now as I want to play that game even more now.

August is the month where coincidentally (Or is it?) four of my friends have their birthdays. You know what that means...party party party!! (Hopefully =D)
A Happy Birthday to you all!!

And that concludes this entry...that's all for today folks!

p.s. Damn, I'm still hungry
