Procrastination will be the death of me someday

I've got two assignments due next week, along with a lab test. I don't understand why I can still bum around while I got so much on my back! And yet I'm still looking forward for Sunday. Which is Paintball day! Yay!

Can't really think much right now, brain's all fried from not doing any work at all. Thanks to last night...

And sooooooo....

The "stop swearing for a week" mission is an utter failure. I've restarted so many times that I've lost track when was the last time I didn't swear. But what I noticed is that I've cut down on my swearing HEAPS. So I guess that's progress ya? I'll probably start the whole one week count starting from tomorrow again. So it'll be one whole week of no swearing!

I've fell sick the past four days ago. Sore throat, coughing and running nose. All the annoying ones. Gee, can't get any better than this! It's probably due to the changing weather pattern. Or maybe not after all. Right now I still have a slight coughing problem, and running nose. I haven't had a proper meal in what...five days? The past few days, all I had was just bread with marjarine and sugar, scrambled eggs with bread and some cereal. I hope I get better soon, I'm craving for those "Hot Rods" from KFC after watching some of my friends eating it right in front of me that Thursday night.

I would like to say that I'm awfully paranoid. I'm constantly thinking of something that'll never come true, yet I think of it!
Self Note: Need to get rid of thought. MUST!

Paintballing this Sunday. Oh yea! Been wanting to paintball for years! Finally a chance to play paintball! Yeehaw!
I won't be suprised to come home all bruised up, just in time for my lab test that week.

Fact: I can't stop swearing

Ok, I've tried twice now and I can't seem to stop swearing. I'll at least swear once every two days. That shows how bad I am at willpower =(

I'll continue trying until I get a whole week where I don't swear at all (I wonder when that'll be).

Other than that, nothing else to report...

Oh, I missed out on Kim's crepes. Crap.

What a failure I am

Not even one day into my mission and I failed already.

But I shall not be sadden over this, for I will try again tomorrow!

So it'll be a week from tomorrow that it'll end. I'll try even harder now to not swear!

I wonder if the moon's out tonight

Last Friday night was Curtin's annual Pasar Malam night. It was packed with asian food (well, mostly Malaysian food). Oh wait, I forgot to mention Spring Fest over at UWA the night before. It was nothing fancy anyways, kinda like a smaller version to our Pasar Malam. And so the night was packed with people all missing their home country's food, food of course and some entertainment by bands.

Got an assignment due next Tuesday. Just a 2000 word report which my groupmate and I expect to finish up really quick. Shouldn't be a real problem me thinks. But to complicate matters, I got a test also next week. Oh what fun! *MAJOR sacarsm there*

I feel like talking how bad the teaching is done in one of my units. Actually, what teaching? She doesn't even teach at all. She comes to class, starts handing out the weekly quiz which no one actually bothers to do (hell, I've never even passed one yet to date), then asks for our lab work/s and then asks us to start doing the next lab work. She DOESN'T freaking teach at all! She has all that equipment up there for her to demonstrate stuffs that we are going to learn that week, but noooooooooooooo. She doesn't want to. Why? Hell, that's a damn good question.
She hasn't learn anything at all from the previous semester when 75% of the class was failing badly in her other unit which I was. When you get 75% of the class failing a unit, certainly there's a mistake somewhere. It's couldn't be only the students not studying. I've never ever seen any first year commerce unit where 75% of the class was failing. That certainly means there's either something wrong with the teaching, or the structure of the unit. Hell, I don't even think that a badly structured unit could lead 75% of the class to failure.
All I'm trying to say is that she's just not doing her job right. I want that bloody survey thingy they give out so that I can put all this complains into good use. She deserves to know all this.

Man, it's so nice getting all that off my chest. And now onto my mission for the week!

Mission 1: Stop swearing for a whole week starting 0000 Wednesday, 11/10/2006 ending 0000 Wednesday 18/10/2006.

Well, considering I've been swearing too much, I think it's time to put an end to it. And so, this is the first step I'm taking to accomplish that. It's an easy feat to some, and not to some. Well, my initial thoughts of this is that it'll be easy. I'm not saying it's cake walk, but it should be do-able. If it's successful, I'll extend it to a whole two weeks, then a month. And to make things clear, what I mean by swearing is the usage of the following words and its other incarnations:

1) Fuck
2) Bitch
3) Bastard
4) *insert any asian swear words*
5) Asshole
6) Dickhead
7) Pussy
8) Cunt
9) Freaking hell
10) Shit

Looks like I can go all night, but yea, you get the general idea. I'm thinking if I should put "damn" into the list or not...
Guess not.

So basically I'm not allowed to say any of those words on my own free will, no matter the time of the day or the company. So that means no swearing even if I'm alone at home.

And yea, that concludes the outline of the mission. Hope I can do it >_<

Another week has gone by...

The Perth Royal Show on Sunday was pretty fun stuff. The rides were not bad at all, but the Gravitron pwn all the other rides.

It basically a ride where you lie against the wall, and it spins in circles. What this creates is basically g-force where it acts upon your body. I would strongly recommend this ride as it is totally awesome!

The rides were expensive. Nothing is below $5 in the Royal Show. So better be prepared to spend HEAPS if you ever plan to go to Royal Show.

Another interesting thing we saw at the Royal Show was the at the Japan Pavilion where they showcased stuffs and information about Japan. The most amazing and interesting on show in my opinion was the demonstration of Honda's ASIMO. Go here to learn more about Honda's ASIMO.

It's really impressive to see it in motion. The movement of ASIMO is simply...surreal! It could climb up stairs, walk up and down inclines and even kick a ball!

And now onto other matters...

I was really troubled with something just a couple of days ago. I was worried like hell about it, thinking all about it. But as it turned out, it was nothing at all! Me and my paranoia...
I've been skipping uni heaps lately. Been turning bad again. Which is a really bad sign. I really expected a scolding from this person whom I seem to only listen to (no, not my mum), but she didn't really scold me this time. I think she's trying this reverse psychology thingy on me. And you know what? I'm feeling the guilt already. Damn she's good.

Craving for something to eat now...maybe some Crunchy Nut?

Aftermath of ASIA Cocktail 2006

ASIA Cocktail was fucking AWESOME.

The dance performance by the committee members were AWESOME.

The whole night was just...unforgetable.
